Semi-Annual Journal of Insurance Research

The Semi-Annual Journal of Insurance Research (JIR) is an open-access, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal published by the ECO College of Insurance, Allameh Tabataba’i University. The Journal has been established to provide an intellectual platform for national and international researchers working on issues related to insurance and risk. The JIR was founded in response to the quick advancements in insurance research and was dedicated to the publication of high-quality research studies that report findings on issues of great concern to the profession of insurance.

All the articles submitted to the JIR have to pass a peer-review process, meaning that all the articles are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and if found suitable for further consideration, will be peer-reviewed by at-least two independent reviewers. The review process is double blind and submission is online.

To allow for easy and worldwide access to the most updated research findings, the Journal provides open access to its articles. Moreover, there are no charges for submission, review, and publication of the contributions submitted by authors or research institutes, and all the process is sponsored by Allameh Tabataba’i University.
